Poe Connection
The narrator drawing attention to the wall where he buried his wife in "The Black Cat" shows how someone can cause their own demies the same as The Dark Knight shows Two Face causing his own fall. When Harvey Dent is burned and loses the woman he loves, he becomes a murdurer. He causes his own downfall excactly like how the narrator does. His alcoholism and rage cause him to kill his wife and beloved Pluto. Wheather he is actually cursed, or just makes huge mistakes that get him on death row, we will never know.
